Our Story

The story of The Press Company is a tale of entrepreneurial spirit and adaptation, rooted in the collaborative efforts of a group of business-minded fraternity brothers. Although officially established in 2017, its origins trace back to 2009 when a team of Delta Sigma Pi brothers at Cal Poly Pomona embarked on a school project that would ultimately evolve into a thriving enterprise.

Originally known as More Greeks, the company specialized in crafting custom apparel and Greek fraternity and sorority merchandise. Nestled in a leased space near the Cal Poly Pomona campus, More Greeks quickly gained traction, serving its niche market with distinction. However, as time passed, priorities shifted, prompting one of the original founders to extend an offer to a new partner to seize the opportunity presented by the existing leased space and inventory.

Thus, The Press Company was born, inheriting not just a physical location but also a legacy ripe with potential. Embracing a vision of expansion and innovation, The Press Company transcended its origins to become a beacon of excellence in the custom apparel industry. No longer confined to the realm of fraternities and sororities, the company broadened its horizons, catering to diverse clientele both locally and nationwide including organizations, businesses, hospitals, and non-profits.

The digital age ushered in new avenues for growth, with The Press Company leveraging its online presence to reach wider audiences, a strategy that proved particularly fruitful during the challenges of the Covid era. Bolstered by this momentum, the company expanded its physical footprint, acquiring additional warehouse space to accommodate heightened demand and streamline operations.

Central to The Press's success is its unwavering commitment to quality and specialization. Its custom graduation stoles and sashes have become synonymous with excellence, adorning graduates from colleges and universities across all 50 states. Fueled by a relentless drive for advancement, the company is in perpetual growth mode, investing in state-of-the-art machinery to scale operations and meet burgeoning demand.

Evolution has been a constant theme for The Press Company, from its humble beginnings as a sole proprietorship to its restructuring as an LLC in 2022. Today, it stands as a certified small business, proudly nurse, woman, and minority owned, a testament to its ethos of inclusivity and empowerment.

As The Press Company continues to chart its course forward, one thing remains certain: its journey is far from over. With innovation as its compass and passion as its fuel, the company is poised to leave an indelible mark on the world of custom apparel, one stitch at a time.
